International patent monitoring
Do you need to follow what is happening around the world within your field of technology or among your competitors? If so, you should make use of PRV InterPat’s advanced patent monitoring service. We use the Derwent World Patents Index (DWPI) database as our monitoring source. DWPI is one of the best patent databases available, with comprehensive international coverage and abstracts in English. This means we can tailor your search profile with the help of both IPC classes and key search words. We also keep your profile updated when there are changes in the classes.
Each month we search for newly published patents and patent applications within your technical field or from your competitors - all according to your wishes. The patent monitoring service includes:
- A clear index giving you a quick overview of the new technology;
- Abstracts in English of all relevant patent documents, including figures;
- Patent documentation giving you a complete picture of the protected technology.
Starting package
We offer a starting package to help you get started. We use your areas of interest to create a search profile that matches your needs. In order to check the profile, we carry out a search of the 30 most recently published patent documents. These documents are then sent to you, to check and comment on relevance. After this, the patent monitoring service is set up. The starting package costs 3,900 SEK (excluding VAT).
How to request a patent monitoring
You can request an international patent monitoring using our secure online service, PRV InterPat Secure (PIS). With PIS, you deliver your request directly through the website.
