Fees and how to pay

When you file a national application with us, you have to pay an application fee. Later in the process, granting fees and annual fees may be chargeable.

You will also have to pay us the fees required for your European patent to enter the national phase in Sweden, as well as any fees in connection with international patent applications.

Payment options:
Plusgiro account number: 1 56 84-4
Bankgiro account nunber: 5050-0248

Pay online
We do not offer an invoicing service.

State your name, the name of the invention and the required method of payment. If you have an application number or patent number, you can just quote that. It may be advisable for you to wait for the filing confirmation that will arrive in the post a few days after you send in your application. The confirmation will show your application number, which you can quote as a reference when paying.

International payments

To avoid surcharges, you must quote the correct payment instruction for international payments in the EU. The bank of the beneficiary (i.e. PRV) must be stated as a BIC (Bank Identifier Code, formerly the SWIFT address). Our account number must be stated as an IBAN (International Bank Account Number). The use of the BIC along with the IBAN guarantees a correct remittance to our bank.
