Periodicals include journals, newspapers and magazines, and other printed documents. A periodical should have a publication schedule, with publication intended at least four times a year, and have a distinct title. According to the Freedom of the Press Act (TF), if you wish to publish a periodical, you must have a certificate of publication before it is printed.
Are you planning to publish a journal? If so, you need to apply for a certificate of publication at PRV.
If you have a certificate of publication it means that the periodical is subject to the rules of freedom of the press.
Your periodical must have a responsible editor before we can issue you with a certificate of publication.
You can find the application form for a certificate of publication here. All forms are in Swedish and can be completed on screen.
