EPO’s Download centre has a number of user guides in English, plus the eOLF client and PatXML programs. The eOLF client is a software utility that you need in order to create your online application. PatXML is used to create XML files that can be appended to online applications.

EPO also offers the PatentIn program, which can be used to create sequential lists for patent applications containing nucleotide or aminoacid sequences.

The WIPO Website has a downloads page where you can download the PCT-SAFE client, the PCT-SAFE editor, user guides in English etc.You need the PCT-SAFE client to create an online application and the PCT-SAFE editor to create XML files that can be appended to your application.
