How to order a soft certificate

A soft certificate is a form of electronic identification in a data file. Soft certificates issued by WIPO (the World Intellectual Property Organization) can be used for electronic filing using PCT-SAFE. To order your soft certificate, visit the WIPO Website.

Once WIPO has approved your request, you will receive an e-mail message with instructions on how to download your certificate. According to WIPO, the process takes just one working day. Soft certificates do not need to be registered to be accepted for filings of patent applications at PRV.
