Applying for a patent in Sweden

PRV grants patents for Sweden, so you should turn to us to file a national Swedish patent application. PRV is also an international authority, which means you can use us if you want to pursue a patent in other countries.

Applying for a patent outside of Sweden

If you want to apply for a patent outside of Sweden, there are three different routes:

• International application (PCT)
• European patent application (EP)
• Foreign application (national or regional)
