When the opposition period has expired, your patent can still be declared invalid by a general court, if someone institutes proceedings in a district court. Stockholm's District Court has the jurisdiction to deal with matters relating to the invalidity of patents.

The grounds for annulment are, in principle, the same as for an opposition. The person who wants to institute proceedings in court must notify us at PRV and inform everyone who has a licence or pledge for the patent.
