What documents are required?
A validity search can be carried out for documents published in one of the Nordic languages (Swedish, Finnish, Danish or Norwegian) or in English, German or French. If you would like a validity search for a document published in another language, please contact our customer services for further information. Exceptions to this service are patent documents granted by PRV or patent documents that PRV has, in some respect, already searched for novelty.

We present the results of the validity search in a report to you.
Our searches
PRV's patent engineers go through patent information and technical literature from around the world to help you find evidence that can question the validity. A validity search focuses on patent documentation filed before the priority date and Non-Patent Literature (NPL) published before the priority date of the document in question. Exceptions to this service are patent documents granted by PRV or patent documents that PRV has, in some respect, already searched for novelty.

What does it cost?
You will always get a personal quote on your order. The price depends on the estimated time required to carry out the exact information you need. Hourly price for consultancy services, SEK 1700.
