Personal information and public access
PRV is a government authority and therefore obliged to save any information it receives that is of more than minor significance to the authority’s work. This means that comments received may be saved as public documents at PRV.
As an authority, PRV is obliged to follow the principle of public access. Documents, including personal information, which are given to PRV can therefore be given out on request. PRV does not otherwise forward personal information. Only in those cases where it is clear that the message has reached the wrong recipient will the message be forwarded to the correct recipient.
