According to the Language Act (2009: 600), Swedish is the main language of public authorities. Even if other languages occur in the business, it should always be possible to communicate with authorities in Swedish. Against this background, it is a requirement in recruitments and employment at the Patent and Registration Office, PRV, to be able to speak and write Swedish.
