On December 11 2025, eOLF, the online filing service provided by the European Patent Office (EPO) for submitting patent documents, will be discontinued. The service has long been used by professional users such as patent attorneys and companies. When it is phased out, Online Filing SE will take over.
Today, PRV is launching a new system for submitting patent applications. Using the new system requires a small but important effort from your organization and marks a step forward in our journey toward a simpler and more streamlined application process.
As of today, PRV’s e-service for patents is called My Pages – Patents SE. The service makes it easy to follow your patent cases digitally – either as an individual authorized user or together with colleagues in a group at your company. The service works smoothly on both desktop and mobile devices.
As of 25 April 2025, PRV will adjust certain trade mark fees.

We remind you that the new fees have come into effect and want to highlight that eOLF has, for a period, displayed incorrect fees in some cases.
On March 15, PRV will change some of its fees regarding patents. The new fees that apply to trademarks come into effect on April 25.
In a decision (PMÄ 7804-24) dated the 11th of November 2024, The Patent and Market Court (PMD) states that article 13 in the Regulation of supplementary protection certificates means that the duration of a certificate shall reflect the time between the filing date of the patent application, including the fling day, and the approval date for marketing the product.
As of January 1, 2025, all management of certificates of publication for periodicals will be transferred from PRV to the Media Authority.
