Borrow and order
Welcome, the library is open to everyone.
The Library is open with guidance on:
Monday, Wednesday, Friday between 9 am -12 pm
Tuesday, Thursday between 12 pm - 3 pm
If you wish to study without any assistance you can stay in the Library between 9 am- 3 pm on weekdays.
You can also return books at the reception, Monday to Friday between 8 am-4 pm.
Borrow printed books
You are welcome to borrow most of our books, the normal loan period is 28 days. If you reside outside of Stockholm, you can request an interlibrary loan from us. For more information contact your local library.
Technical literature, reference-only books and books that are placed in Söderhamn are only available to be read on the premises. Please note that it takes a few days for the books to be delivered to Stockholm.
Renewal
If the book has not been reserved by someone else, you have the option to re-loan up to three times in succession, each renewal is extended by 28 days. You have the possibility of renewing online. To create a user account, contact the library, the first time you will borrow from us, and we will provide you with a username and pin code.

Borrow e-books
You can either read an e-book on the premises or download it to your computer, mobile or tablet. The lending period is 14 days. We recommend that you download some required software before visiting us.
Did you know that you can download e-books from home? If you already have a BiblioteksSöks account with login information, you only need to get the EBSCO Mobile app from AppStore to start downloading. If you don't have an iPhone or iPad you must wait until autumn for the android app to develop. Do you need a BiblioteksSöks account, book a visit and create one.
Order material
Certain material is archived and therefore must be ordered beforehand. Patent files prior to the year 2004 can take up to 2 days to arrive. Orders can be sent by email.
For librarians
We prefer that interlibrary loan request be placed via Libris. To renew, log in our library catalogue with Libris id and pin code.
