Collective management organisations
Since 1 January 2017, the Swedish Intellectual Property Office (PRV) has been the supervisory authority for collective management organisations.
Or rather collective management organisations and organisations comparable thereto, which conduct business within the EEA and are established in Sweden.
Report
Collective management organisations must report for registration with PRV. The report must contain the following information:
- Name of the organisation
- Legal form of entity
- Corporate ID number
- Most recently prepared annual report
- Name of contact person
- Contact information
The report must be sent by email to: kfo@prv.se
The report for registration must have been received by PRV no later than 16 January 2017, or no later than 30 days after the organisation begins conducting business, which is subject to PRV’s supervision. (Applicable to collective management organisations that begin business subject to supervision after 1 January 2017).
