Final notice

If you receive a final notice from us, it means that we have concluded that the claims are patentable and that there are good opportunities for us to grant a patent.

A final notice means that there is nothing to prevent you from having a granted patent. Either we made this decision right after the technical notice, or your arguments or your amendments have made us believe that the invention is patentable.

When you receive a final notice, do this!

We have attached the documents which we think may be the basis for the patent. Check them one last time and correct the documents if necessary. We may also ask you to correct minor defects such as typos, or adapt your description to the patent claims we plan to grant.

Remember, you must respond to the final notice and approve the documents in order for the processing of your application to continue.
