Swedish Patent Database
The Swedish Patent Gazette publishes all official notices, or announcements, concerning patent applications and patents that are valid in Sweden, including European patents validated in Sweden and Supplementary Protection Certificates (SPCs). As of 26 January 2026, the Swedish Patent Gazette transitioned from a weekly PDF publication to an online solution with daily publication of notices.
Notices published from 26 January 2026 onwards can be accessed in the Swedish Patent Database under the tabs “Notices”, where notices can be searched by date, and “Swedish Patent Gazette”, where notices published during a specific week can be searched.

Older Editions
Some older notices from the Swedish Patent Gazette are also searchable in the Swedish Patent Database. In the database, you can search for patents that have been published under a specific notice category in the Swedish Patent Gazette, for example “granted patents.” It is also possible to search for notices published in a particular issue of the Gazette. To access all notices published before 26 January 2026, the older PDF editions must be used, as not all historical notices are searchable in the Swedish Patent Database.
