There are four different kinds of trademark certificates that you can order: registration certificate, historical certificate, seniority and priority certificates.

Registration certificate for trademarks
A registration certificate is a document that certifies that your trademark has been registered. It contains the following information:
- a representation of the trademark
- the registration number
- the owner of the registration
- which goods and services the trademark is registered for
The certificate is in Swedish. It is automatically sent to the owner or the owner’s representative when the trademark is registered.
Historical certificate for registered trademarks
A historical certificate contains the same information as the registration certificate. It also has information about any changes that has been made to the registration: for example change in ownership, change of address or changes of the appearance of the trademark.
A seniority certificate contains, besides the same information as the registration certificate, information about the last day of validity. The general information in the certificate is in both Swedish and English. However, the goods and services are only in Swedish.
The certificate is used to prove seniority when applying for a community trademark through EUIPO.
Priority certificate for trademarks
Priority certificates are used when you apply for a trademark registration in another country. This is for you that have a Swedish trademark registration and want to apply for a registration outside of Sweden. Priority must be claimed within the first six months after you file your application to PRV.
