International registration

With just one application, one language and one currency you can get a design registration in over 65 countries.

If you want to protect your design in countries outside of the EU, you can use the international registration system (the Hague System). The Hague System is administered by the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) in Geneva and makes it possible to apply for protection in several countries by submitting just one application to WIPO.

Through the EU's membership of the Hague Agreement you can use the system, as a Swedish citizen. If you want to apply for international registration, please contact WIPO directly. Sweden is not connected to the system as a member country. On the other hand, an international registration can be validated in Sweden by designing the registration to the EU.
