The application process

This is where you can find information about how we handle your application and what can happen both before and after we make a decision.

When you submit your application, the fee should also be paid. We cannot examine your application unless the fee has been paid.

You can find more information about what your application must include, here.

You can submit your application through our online application or by using a paper form. PRV will examine your application to see if your trademark can be registered. All applications are handled in turn.

If there are any reasons why your trademark cannot be registered, you will receive a letter from us. You will be able to respond to the letter.

Public application

As soon as you submit your application it will be public. That means anyone can request to see the information you have submitted in your application, including your trademark.
